Humanities: English 2 and World History
This course is designed to prepare students to communicate effectively in our modern society by combining English 2 and World History. Through close textual study of both fiction and non-fiction, students develop a clear focus on an author’s considerations and then learn how to apply that same focus in a variety of writing modes. The purpose of this course is to enable students to read complex texts with understanding and to respond critically aloud and in writing.
